So, that article I’ve been mentioning for like 3 weeks now. Well, it’s gone. Word Press decided that I needed a good fisting and deleted the entire thing. I’ll be working to the best of my ability to continue writing and get a full length article out as soon as possible.
I’d like to request a moment of silence for my article as I go cry.
I hope all of you had a wonderful break. I hope all of you saw family and friends and got everything you wanted for Christmas or Hanukkah or, hell, Kwanzaa. We weren’t gifted with all that much snow but, after all 2016 had given us, what did we expect?
There was a buffer on articles on my end but there’s one in the works. I can’t promise that it’ll be anything more than trash but it’s an article, no less. I most definitely intend on continuing my story series, given some positive feedback from the first one. These are proving much more difficult to write than I’d originally anticipated so they will be coming out at different intervals. This is mostly due to the fact that I’m attempting to broaden my spectrum of writing. Not to mention that I’ve had less to write about than I did last year.
So, this is my brief update. Again, hope you all had a good break and recover well enough to do some school stuff.
As we’ve all been able to tell rather well from my previous articles, my ability in the satire department is rather weak. So, I’m going to try this. Maybe once a week, if possible, I’m going to write a short story in really whatever topic I feel to. So, without further ado, let’s begin.

Here at the Macaroni Report, we have gone international. One of our Senior reporters decided that they were too good for high school so they graduated and went to college in hippie Canada where the snow is green and the grass is smoked.
One of the Senior Writers decided that our international writer needs a little spook and a reminder of just how nutty we are. So we’ve devised a plan to get into Canada. We’re all going to bike (or take a train) to Washington where we’re either going to island hop or ferry across the water to reach her lofty, secluded little home. This totally isn’t weird, creepy, or stalky. We’re just giving a nice little friendly gesture towards our long gone friend.
As if it hasn’t already been made abundantly obvious, here at the Macaroni Report, we enjoy to weigh in our opinions on this years presidential election. So, me being the show stealing specimen that I am, here I am. Continue reading “Beating A Dead Horse”
Henry the pug.
Now, here at the super professional, completely legit macaroni offices, we have a member who owns a little pugger. Now, some of our members have taken to calling this doggo “Satan”.
There are a few issues from this. One, I AM SATAN! Next, how could such an adorable dog be Satan. I mean, look at him. He is very clearly the epitome of beauty and majesticness. There isn’t much to say, really. It’s just that obvious. In fact, I say we start a movement to make Henry the mascot of the Macaroni Report! Who’s with me!? Whoever is, leave a comment and I’ll take it straight to the head chef.
We cannot be stopped. This was OPC, signing out.
I’M BACK BOYS AND GIRLS AND THERE’S NOTHING YOU CAN DO TO STOP ME THIS TIME!!!! MWAHHAHAHAHAHA!!!
Alright. Now that that’s out of my system, I’m back. It’s been a long time since I’ve written an article that actually contains some real merit so I’m going back to my rant that I started and never followed up on. Here we talk about the unrealistic expectations set upon us by “The Man”.
Over the summer, as I’m sure none of you know or really care, I got a job. As a summer job, this was honestly one of the best things I could’ve done for myself. I got my lazy pudge off the couch and got some money along the way. Granted, this did add some stress to my life and brought some deep issues to the surface but I’m in the process of fixing it all. No real issues came about from my job. Honestly, I wouldn’t take back getting this job. I do really enjoy it. I just wash some dishes at the Bavarian Manor (shameless plug). And I actually got to meet a really cute girl there who I do really like. It’s, overall, been a grand ol time.
Now that school has come around, however, I’ve encountered a bit of a conflict and am in a rather precarious situation. I lack time to do a lot of school work and it’s just really exhausting to work until 10:30. Heck. I didn’t get to bed last night until 12 something. Learning to balance these two things has proven to be quite an arduous task, much more than I’d anticipated at first. I’m actually quite embarrassed by my lack of control over my current situation. It has gotten easier over the past week but I do foresee many complications as my boss pushes for increased hours.
I do know I’m not the only one in this situation and to all of those who do this as well, goddamn do I respect you. And I’m also thinking about the near future. I’ll be doing sports stuff soon. I’d originally planned on doing cross country but that fell through for reasons I’d rather not admit. In hindsight, I don’t know if I could’ve handled all of that. I’m falling behind on work as we speak and I’m at the point where I kinda just accept my situation.
Well, that’s all I’ll subject you fine little noodles for today. But you all know I’ll be back. Have a fine and cheesy day sonnies.
